The name is a nod to the lush gardens of the 18^th Century English landscape gardener Lancelot “Capability” Brown, who remains to this day the most celebrated English gardener. His greatest works merged the rolling landscape of untamed country parks with flower gardens and ha-ha walls.

A colour that is gentle and soothing to the eye, Capability Green works well with most other colours in the palette, but particularly well as a neutral base alongside blues, pinks and yellows.
